Tony Martyr Posted April 16, 2002 Share Posted April 16, 2002 When I replaced my MEMS ecu with a dta unit the imobiliser was abandoned since the dta unit has no such function. But there seems to be a relay attached to the warning light that is still getting power from battery. The sender unit still makes the the light go through its setting and unsetting routine so could I not use it to imobilise the car by connecting the supply to the ecu power relay or some other vital supply through the relay attached to the light.
