olij Posted April 16, 2002 Share Posted April 16, 2002 Please can someone let me know the torque settings for the bolts holding the inlet manifold to cylinder head; I'd like to remove loose bolts from my coolant leak investigations. I don't have a manual but I guess they would be in there? The manifold is metal and on a 1400 inlet-manifold-gasket-eating supersport. Any suggestions? thanks, Oli. sjwb Posted April 16, 2002 Share Posted April 16, 2002 Manifold gasket eating? Perhaps there is a 'flatness' issue somewhere? Try the manifold face with a straight edge when disassembled. Any more that a couple of thou (0.002) and that will be the cause. I have a WS manual at home and will see if there are specified bolt torques.
