henry21p
As bought from Gambo here: http://213-04.com/T.asp?id=105710 Very tidy. Never fitted to the car, stored properly so in great condition - too short for the front of my 21. Same price as I paid - £250 I can supply photos tomorrow if required. Little Bob
Dave - would these be any use on a 1.8SS? C7 GTE at Goodwood
henry21p
Apparently so, as long as you're on standard track dedion car. As supplied by freestyle to gambo then from him to me. Never been fitted to the 21! Blatmail me and I'll send you a BIG photo.

henry21p
Thanks! Timy Tim asked first - and I'm concerned he didn't get his tiscali e-mail, so if you're interested as well I'll check with him and if he doesn't then you're next in line! Tiny Tim
Dave, Have received email with photos ok . Took a long time to download, it was a big picture! Have tried to contact Gambo to ask spec and whether these are for through or under DeDion fixing. Will try to get back to you tonight. henry21p
I THINK they're for the through the dedion kind, but don't quote me on that. they are about an inch shorter than my normal rears which bolt onto the lower mount (which is about the distance between the 2 mounting points)
Gambo
Yes they are for a dedion with fitment THROUGH the bar. Sorry these did not work for you Dave. ☹️ Sv suspension must be different to S3. Just to add that my car is wide track and they were fitted to it. The only difference I can think is that I have the old type front damper mounts, i.e level with the top wishbone . henry21p
Freestly DO say that they often wind in the height adjustbale type for some kind of handling reason that i didn't understand, making the damper shorter for less travel or something.... However - the fronts are definitely NOT standard widetrack length - they are normal 7 size ones! The best oracle on these may well be Freestyle themselves (if you quote my name or gambo's name, gary will know what you're talking about as he discussed with me about a day ago!) Gambo
Just to clarify my point they were ordered and supplied to fit a 1995 wide track car. As I said , top mount is different to current cars. RED 2.0 HPC 230BHP here
henry21p
i.e. they are shorter than widetrack post 96 dampers! 😬
Gambo
It would appear so 😬 RED 2.0 HPC 230BHP here
henry21p
😬 p.s. if anyone buys them and they don't fit, i'll take them back and sell them to someone for whom they DO fit, as long as they're not broken in the process 😬
