henry21p
I didna measure mine! I'm waiting on a return call from Caterham to tell me what length they are. I believe you're right though - the fronts look like widetrack length

henry21p
Having bought the wrong ones from Gambo last year to go with the rebuild (see my for sale thread), just checking with Caterham that widetrack are the correct type for the front (interesting that the 21 runs a widetrack body (steering rack) but with standard wishbones and PROBABLY widetrack dampers (mounted higher on the car than in a 7). Did your rears attach to the lower dedion point, or the one through the middle? May I have 1st refusal subject to caterham getting me the answer I need? henry21p
Darn. Caterham have got back to me with a confusing answer! They say that 21's have standard front dampers, not the taller "widetrack" ones (which are the same thing with a spacer in them). However, my dampers are 4cm longer than a standard 7 set! If I can ask one question then - could you measure from the ends of one of the front damper and tell me if it is 340mm (give or take a bit), or longer end to end? Interestingly, the other 21 I've checked has dampers that are the same as a 7 - 340mm unladen end to end.
