I have a PTP 165 conversion in my Elise which after an accident has suffered from a poor throttle response below 4000 rpm and doesn't rev to the limiter like it use to. Checks by Professionals have given it a clean bill a health, it made 165 bhp on John Nobles rolling road. When I fitted the standard ECU the throttle response below 4000 rpm was much better, and top end power seems to be the same as with the PTP ecu. What conclusion should I come to?
