I have run this car for 12 months as a daily runabout and to teach my son how to drive. It has been utterly reliable. I no longer need her so she has to go.

Excellent runner. Very economical.

I'm sure there's a few people taking part in events like Home to Rome and Czechwrecks that would be interested as £100 is normally the top price you can pay for the car (says the man who bought a Rover 825 for the price of its tax disc last year 😬)

I ran one of these in the '90s for nearly a year and it did all that was asked of it and refused to break. The A+ engine is punchier than you'd think too - 75BHP IIRC.

 

I'd recommend running this until something expensive goes wrong* and then sticking the A+ engine in a Westfield 11 *smile*

I don't think the engine will fit into a Mini without some mods/swapping of components as in the Maerstro it has an 'end on' rather than underslung gearbox. Still worth having though *thumbup*
