Area Representative z7 Posted May 11, 2007 Area Representative Share Posted May 11, 2007 The installation of my new Raceline Zetec is on course for the w/end 19th/20th Thanks to all those who are helping *thumbup* However, Raceline can't get my Silicone hoses for another 3 weeks. Black are a special order. Does anyone know where else I could get a set in time? Or perhaps borrow a set until mine arrive? Thanks Adil Edited by - adil on 11 May 2007 16:34:
Big Brother
I *think* they are made specially for Raceline - to their own design. I had to wait for mine too ☹️
Area Representative Crudders Posted May 11, 2007 Area Representative Share Posted May 11, 2007 Adil - I'm not overly familiar with the Zetec hose layout but you should be able to connect everything up with flexible hoses, elbows, etc. from CBS here to get the new engine running, then swap over to your new silicone hoses when they arrive. Rob Walker
get some standard rubber hoses from a motor factor until your silicon hoses are delivered.
Big Brother
Only one that may prove difficult is the one from the waterpump to the submarine pipe as it reduces in diameter. I'm sure you could lash up something as a temporary measure.

Area Representative z7 Posted May 13, 2007 Author Area Representative Share Posted May 13, 2007 Hi guys, Thanks for the help, again. I'm going to re-use my James Whiting water rail, and fit the Raceline one later. Don't know why I didn't think of it before! Cheers Adil
