andy oliver Posted April 11, 2002 Share Posted April 11, 2002 Have you tried the SB6 map yet?.I've just got mine working - it has the modified cam timing S7 map and is a great improvement on the MEMS.However, it still misfires between 2500 and 3000 rpm.The more throttle you give it the worse the misfire.It was like this on the MEMS after I did the cams and I'm hoping I can program this one to cure it ( any suggestions gratefully received).I would be interested to know how you are getting on with yours. andy oliver Posted April 11, 2002 Author Share Posted April 11, 2002 Yes it is the V7 map,I have adjusted the cam timing as per Oilyhands and Dave Walkers figures which involved advancing both by about 6 degrees.Is this the same as you've done to your cams?.My nephew noticed a marked dogleg in the injection map at 3000rpm which he interpolated out at all loadsites.This seems to have pretty well cured the misfire.Incidentally,the SB6.fig and the V7 maps are on the floppy that came with the ECU if allegro still needs them.
