Locking Wheel Nuts

If you've got R500 style split rim mag wheels, would you be interested in a set of locking wheel nuts? Caterham don't sell them and it would seem it's very hard to find any after-market ones.

I am having a one-off set of latest specification (Thatcham approved) locking nuts made by one of the major UK suppliers of such things and they have told me that if I ordered fifty sets I could get them for around £35+VAT per set of 4.

If anyone is interested, reply here or mail me.

Steve - yes, I'd be interested.

On a similar note I've been meaning for some time to ship a spare nut I have to Compomotive to see if they can do some lightweight ones.

Any interest there? Seems odd to me that we spend a fortune on nice light wheels then fit them on with hunks of heavy stuff.

They also won't rust like the std. ones do.

Definately interested in locking wheel nuts for the R500 wheels. I did enquire at Caterham when I got the car but found the same - they only fit the Minilites.

Might be interested in lighter nuts (!) depending upon the cost.

the problem with the mag wheels is the spokes are very close

have you thought of having the area for one wheel nut machined out slightly

to accommodate a of the shelf locking nut i dont think the area in question

would lose it's strength question.gif just a thought.
