Bob Corb Posted April 10, 2002 Share Posted April 10, 2002 Just giving the car a quick hoover as its full of grit and stones I noticed that the shoulder straps of the harnesses are all chafed on the outer edges where they pass through the Tillet GF seats. One of the drivers belts is starting to break up at the edge. Has anyone else had the same problem? My car is only 6 months old (2300miles). I notice that Tillet Kevlar/CF seats have protector strips around the shoulder strap holes. I did try to fit some wing piping around when I built the car but the seats are too thick. Has anyone else had this problem? I'm surprised its got this bad without me noticing earlier. Any clever/tidy solutions? Better change the belts before Cadwell.
