Wishing you a happy Wednesday from Velux 5 Oceans Race HQ Breakfasting on Earl Gray tea, an Innocent blueberry smoothie, Weetabix is next. I'm planning a run out in the Se7en this afternoon providing it dries up. It's a bit drizzly here in Gosport this morning, can hardly see the top of the Spinnaker Tower across the harbour entrance. That is going to be an excuse for a LOT of alcohol. 😬 Btw interested parties. If you look at the race leaderboard on the website and you think some of the figures look nonsense, that isn't us screwing up. It's because one of the boats sat. comms transmitter is not working properly and not sending us positions, so we have to phone the skipper and ask where he is. However the positions go straight to the website with no intervention from us and because it is nearly the end of the race, powers that be say it's not worth fiddling about to fix.
