Ian B Posted April 24, 2007 Share Posted April 24, 2007 Hi Barry, Any idea why, when I search for carcoon (or Carcoon) in techtalk, with "titles only" ticked or not, I get no results? I made a post just now with Carcoon in the title, and it still doesn't pick it up? Site Manager Posted April 24, 2007 Share Posted April 24, 2007 It's because the search uses a separate database that has been created by extracting key words from all the posts and titles, ie it excludes 'it' 'a' 'of' 'the' etc. This database is refreshed each night whilst most of us sleep, so any posts made during the day will only get indexed that evening/morning (about 02:00, I think).
