Hanns Per Posted April 22, 2007 Share Posted April 22, 2007 I install an oil cooler on my CSR 200 LH, the little round one on top of the oil filter. Does it make a difference which way the cooling water should flow throgh the cooler or is it of no relevance. Since this is a LH driven car I would like to let the water go the opposite direction of the normal setup, which would make the installation of the hoses easier. Hanns Per Posted April 23, 2007 Author Share Posted April 23, 2007 when I convert from the plain chamber to the roller barrell (what I plan) then Cosworth recommends the oil cooler, in fact its part of the rebuilding kit. paul jacobs Posted April 26, 2007 Share Posted April 26, 2007 The good thing about using the sort that Caterham fits, is that as well as cooling the oil, it also helps to warm it up quicker too . it's got to be a good thing.
