cookie7 Posted April 7, 2002 Share Posted April 7, 2002 OUT FOR BLAST NOTICED A PUFF OF SMOKE AT AROUND 7000REVS.QUSTION:CAN OVER FILLING WITH ENGINE OIL COUSE THIS.IM RUNNING 1.6 "K" WITH ANTI CAV TANK,PUT IN 7 LT OF OIL.CARS DONE 40,OOO MILES,CAR SEEMS OK,GAVE IT A FEW BIG REVS WHEN I GOT BACK HOME NO SMOKE ? Mick Day Posted April 7, 2002 Share Posted April 7, 2002 I have seen this happen when the breather pipe from the cam cover is routed into the air filter &/or plenum. L hand corner fast, the engine "breathes" & oil is "injected" into the engine. However I suspect you may have overfilled. Check your oil level & keep an eye on it.
