Noise Testing at the Club Track Day at Cadwell Park 23/04/2007

Please can I make everyone aware who is participating in the club track day at Cadwell next Monday the new arrangements for noise testing at the circuit which will be inforce on our day.

 

I would advise people to arrive early at the circuit to ensure that the day runs smoothly with out interuption to the signing on for all drivers and passengers (07.30hrs - 08.30hrs) and drivers briefing (0830hrs -09.00hrs).

 

The location of the static noise testing area shall be adjacent to the scrutineering bay, next to the shower block. This location will be clearly marked. Testing shall commence from 07:30, allowing a full hour before the drivers briefing starts at 08:30. Testing shall then cease until after the briefing has finished.

 

Vehicles shall be permitted to complete the initial 3 sighting laps without having been statically noise tested, however they will NOT be allowed to remain on circuit after these initial laps and must return to the designated area for noise testing.

 

The noise limit at Cadwell Park is 105dB(Static)
