prangerman
Sainsburys@ Locksbottom. Blimey, and it was moving, after a fashion. M Reg in yucky mustard. Ahhhh, the 1970s. Almost as awful as a black tulip Marina coupe. What a decade for carp cars... Peter In Memoriam DMG

pinkprincess
Right, I'll see your Toyota Crown etc. and raise you the Ferrari Daytona, VW Golf, Lotus Esprit, Porsche 928, BMW CSL, Ford Escort MkI/II, any Merc (they were built properly then!), Range Rover, Talbot Sunbeam Lotus....... By Sunbeam Alpine I assume you mean the Hillman Hunter-derived coupe rather than the actually quite good looking convertible from the 60's RW04FUN

Ian B
Back in the 80's a titled lady in the village I come from had an Austin Princess Vanden Plas (in brown of course). Even then the number plate was probably worth more than the car. It was GB 1 I see that the reg has gone up in the world a bit now though. MarcNS
We had a 1974 Yellow Saab and a 74 Orange Beetle, cool in the 70's, we had them though to the 90's, The Saab fell apart but the Beetle was sold. I thought they were cool but my friends in the 80's thought otherwise and now they are cool again
