Standard De Dion Diff.

Wanted standard DeDion Diff , my rebuild has come to a standstill as the old diff is pooring oil out.

Maybe some one has one lying around after upgrading to a LSD.

I know a man with a standard one which he wants shut of. It rotates fine, but as to oil-tightness, I dunno.

 

But would not a simple change of oil seals on yourexisting unit sort you out?

 

I may be heading Birmingham and Stafford way later on today or tomorrow - I could bring the diff . . .

YHM ref diff , the prop / pinion seal has gone , this apparently is a major job , the drive shaft seals are easy ( and the diff doesn't have to come out ).

 

I am interested , depending on mileage / history and price.

 

I want to fit a known good diff , its quite a job getting it out and in ( just got the old one out ) !!.
