Has anyone got x1 or x2 of these...

I believe they are made by 'Two Gates', a company that is unfortunately no longer manufacturing.

Wheel 1

wheel 2

It's 14" x 6" minilte with anthracite centres and polished rim. They were standard fit on my ltd edition roadsport (1996).

thanks!

Thanks David,

I'm still not sure whether to persist with the 14" set up or to go the whole hog and buy a set of CCs anthracite 8 spoke 13" ers.

Anyone out there with a single charcoal grey Superlite classic? *wavey*

The original wheels on my ltd edition 1400 ss are embossed "two gates" wheels.

I believe that this company no longer exists ☹️

If you want to keep the car completely original the only thing to do is have the existing wheels refurbed.

This is the course of action i am thinking of taking myself.

My wheels are in good condition apart from some very light corrosion on one or two places on the polished rims.

If yours are in mint condition and you want to sell any of them please let me know 😬

Cheers

John.

I've got Two Gates wheels on my car too (originally 1400SS). Not too sure why people would want to keep them - they weigh more than other 14'' wheels - which isn't great considering it's unsprung weight.

Rob.

The only reason I want them on my car is because they were a limited edition spec in terms of colour, polished rims, etc.

In my case the car isnt raced or tracked so weight of a few kgs is not an issue.

the other advantage in my case is im'e skinny *confused* 145Lbs 😬

Cheers John.
