Shock Horror!!!

Can Anyone help?

I am building a new kit [Academy] and have successfully managed to fit the rear shock-absorber/spring unit in to the off-side but cannot get the bush at the top of the unit to go into position on the other side of the car.

I have tried jacking the bottom of the unit to ease it into place, are there any other tricks?

Thanks Ian B

I'm assumiong its the rubber thats sticking, rather than the unit being too big.

In which case, steal the washing up liquid formthe kitchen, plaster liberally over the rubber bush, try to keep hold of it, and try inserting it again - the washing up liquid acts as a lubricant and will wash/evaporate off, doing no damage to the bush.

if the metal sleeve is too big / chassis too small, ring Caterham and shout!

But make sure you have the angle of insertion correct to avoid it snagging up unneccessarily (how many 'c's, 'n's & 's's does it have anyway?)
