jono
2x "proper Minator Minilite" any fool knows Minators are Minators and Minilites are Minilites ....what goes around comes around
Sheds Moderator
Is that right Jono? I stand corrected. I though the one was the manufacturer of the other. They are in that case Minators, and look like Minilites. Oh, and touché, by the way. 😬
jono
real Minilites are made from magnesium and cost lots of money. Minator and others make cheap but decent aluminium copies
Sheds Moderator
Aaaaaah, I see. I knew some of the variants were magnesium, I just didn't know how to check. 😶🌫️ Thanks Jono. I don't suppose you want to buy them?
andy couchman
Minilite also produced ali wheels too - just to make things more complex... Oh and to further muddy the waters, although I thought Minilites were the originals, a guy at Superlite (they also do Minilite type wheels) told me that the original 8 spoke design actually came off an unnamed aircraft wheel (any ideas Eric?). Whatever- it is an iconic design that still looks great on a 7. Andy
