Pete Howard
I've partially ripped off a rear wing by hitting a dead badger (ouch!). The captive nuts for the wing fixings have torn out of the aluminium bodywork. Does anyone have a recommended fix? Will I have to remove the interior trim panel and fit nuts and bolts with big washers or is there an easier solution?
Chelspeed
Sorry don't know the answer. But, however you replace the rivnuts make sure you refit the new wing with nylon bolts then the next time the wing will com clean off without damaging the difficult to repair body work
Mick Day
Try using expanding rubber rawlbolts. Select the most appropriate size for the now larger holes. Before you laugh I've used these after doing the same thing with a cone on a track day. Mick
