Hurtle
Anyone have a Caterham K series 1600 or 1800 Flywheel lurking? Standard or Lightened. Thanks Jas. 1.4 litre Corner Eater
Sheds Moderator
I think I have a 1.4 lightened flywheel, I'll have a look. If it's no good to you it can go in Force Ale as they are a fairly sought after item IIRC.
Hurtle
Thanks BOSS, I believe from what I have read that I might be able to trick an Emerald Ecu into working with a 1.4 Flywheel on a 1.8 engine. Can anyone confirm? I am just trying to get together all the bits I need for a 1.4-1.8 complete swap. Jas.
Sheds Moderator
I think you can, you just need to tell it it's a 2 missing tooth design and not 4 missing teeth as I recall. I haven't done it but I understand that it's straightforward - the pickup can work with all sorts of applications.

Sheds Moderator
It's in the back of the shed gents, I went in for a dig last night but it was hellish. God I hate moving house, especially having gone to a smaller one and no garage. ☹️ Will sort it post Easter.
