EvoDunc
Hi, I`ll have to pass on that one. They are currently with Chris at "The 7 workshop" and I`m sure he would know.
Castrol
jp7, I don't think that they will fit. The rears are too long as they were designed to fit on a bolt under the de-dion tube hence on full extention the de-dion tube fouls on the chassis member. The fronts are also too long if fitting on standard track. This is all from trying to fit M1s to a 1992 chassis. However if anyone with more experience comes along and tells me that I'm wrong then I will bow to their knowledge! Regards, Matt.
Leadership Team SLR No.77 Posted April 3, 2007 Leadership Team Share Posted April 3, 2007 Castrol is correct. The rears are too long due to the later DeDion fitment, and the fronts will be the same length as pre-96 shockers fitted with the widetrack extenders. I fitted post 96 shocks to the front of my pre-96 wide track car, but they needed mounting upside-down. Even then the clearance between the spring cap and the lower wishbone was just a few millimetres. Not a chance with standard track! Stu.
