Therefore I either have to change the Caterham or the Merc - so no choice there then! Details: 1998 S-Reg Mercedes C180 Estate Owned by us from New Mileage: 111000 FSH: MB Main dealer until about 80000, and then Mercedes specialist after that (Andy Gayle Mercedes in Birmingham) Trim: Black cloth, Elegance spec: aircon, alloys, 4 electric windows etc. Extras: Integrated child seats (pop out of the rear squab when needed), high end stereo, fire extinguisher, 3rd brake light. Condition: a little surface rust in one or two places. One minor dent in the passenger rear door. 4 x Nearly New tyres (Michelin) - however I also have a set of winter tyres for the car which are only 2 years old, and these are currently on the car. Tax: Sept 07 MOT: Sept 07 We have owned this car from new, and have looked after it accordingly. I have every receipt and tax disc, including the original invoice. I have always been careful with it, and until it went to Andy Gayle for servicing I always used Mobil 1 (it now runs semi-synthetic Mobil S). I recently gave it £1000 worth of work - all age related i.e. all front suspension bushes changed, new pads/discs. Parkers show the part ex price as £2900 , so I offer it to Blatchatters first before it goes to the garage/ebay.
