Johnty Lyons Posted March 17, 2007 Share Posted March 17, 2007 Looking at the horrendous price of a replacment lower WT wishbone just how easy is it to replace the spherical bearing and is it available 🤔 Ive removed the circlip and had the wishbone in the press but it dosn't seem to want to move Anyone been there done that any tips ? jj N.I. By the sounds of things it won't be easy though. Please post how you get on if you manage to get the old one out. If not, looks like I'll be buying a new wishbone ☹️. Rob Walker Posted March 19, 2007 Share Posted March 19, 2007 Due to wide tolerences on some of the wishbone bearing housings some of the spherical bearings are held in with bearing fit as well as the circlip. shn7 Posted March 19, 2007 Share Posted March 19, 2007 Removed mine using a bench vice and a couple of suitably sized sockets. When refitting definitely use bearing lock.
