Roger Ford
Halfords don't do them. See thread here - Cromwell was the only place (apart from Snap-On) that I could find them.
Alex Wong1697456877
Yup - got mine from Cromwell. Halfords dont do them. I'd bet they're easy to get from the US though, if you can find a website that will deliver to the UK. Alba 7
Tim, I just bought a set this very week from Gibb Tools in Aberdeen here A strip of 6 or 7 3/8" were £19. Not sure if they do tools by post but if you are stuck let me know (i'm sure that I can get a set and post to you). They have an amazing stock of imperial stuff (one benefit of the oil industry being all imperial). I did try Halfwits where the spotty oik told me that Imperial hex sockets did not exist (and then the supervisors came over and suggested I tried Gibb instead). Nick. I.Mupferit
Ah so there is an advantage after all in being old enough to have bought your socket set in the 1960's. I have every imperial spanner size I could possibly want and all nearly 40 years old. 😬 Brent 2.3 DURATEC SV Reassuringly Expensive R 417.39 😬
