STEVE GILBERT
I want to do a small foam seat to go in a Tillett for my 7 year old, I don't really want to buy a whole kit as it won't take much to make the base. Anyone got any stuff left over for sensible sums? Steve See My Caterham Fireblade Here.
Support Team Shaun_E Posted March 15, 2007 Support Team Share Posted March 15, 2007 I would suggest getting the 2kg pack from CFS Fibreglass Supplies which will be more than enough for a seat base. I bought the 5kg pack and got 2 full seats out of it (first one was no good). Yellow SL #

Support Team Shaun_E Posted March 15, 2007 Support Team Share Posted March 15, 2007 First read this. 😬 Then, more practically, read this. I used Millets survival bags (here) as they are very strong compared with bin liners. Claire Voyant
Wasn't there a long discussion about the best way to make foam seats recently? I'll have a look. I think it may have been in techtalk.
