NickD
The BGH box was built from a brand new Caterham-supplied box (£1250+VAT), which then went to Brian Hill for his mods. Total cost was about £2000. It has never been fitted or run and is for sale on behalf of a friend. So yes, it is more expensive than a reconditioned box from BGH, which costs about £750. The extra cash gives an alloy lid (£60) and new case, shafts and gears.

Tight fart
will they, or can they be made to fit a crossflow?
NickD
Not easily. Both boxes have a short spigot to suit Vx or K and so will not engage properly with the spigot bearing in the Ford crank
