Andrew Dent Posted March 30, 2002 Share Posted March 30, 2002 Just put the car back together and run it for the first time in months. I have 1 hole that will not take its screw. This happens to be on the water rail above teh exhaust on my K series. What are the options. I now have a drip drip from the water rail. Any options/suggestions considering its a bank holiday weekend. Got caught out by the fuel cut out switch when starting it back up. Andrew Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
russb Posted March 30, 2002 Share Posted March 30, 2002 Andrew, try slackening all the other bolts wiggle the rail about if poss and then put in the one that will not bite, could be that the water rail is slightly offset and preventing the bolt picking up the thread, if this works then tighten all the other bolts.
