Ralph Morgan
I think the time has come to check my 5 year old Zetec installation on a rolling road! It runs fine above about 2,000 rpm but is distinctly lumpy (almost as though firing on 3 cylinders) at idle and low speed. Probably just needs carbs rebalancing, but I may as well get a full diagnosis - it would be interesting to see what the power figures are (and how different they are from the data Paul Dunnell gave me with the engine...). Can anyone recommend a good RR facility down this way? I recall mention some time ago of someone in the Whitney/Brize Norton area, but can't remember details, and there may be others worth considering. MartinP
You might like to try RJ Bradley and Sons Ltd at The Station Garage, Shipton under Wychwood. They are on the other side of the track to the station. If you are coming through the village from Burford direction turn left immediately after crossing the railway line. Tel. no is 01993 8303214. They aren't Caterham specialists but are performance car enthusiasts, running their own race car. They've just replaced their original road with a new one and the last I heard they had a problem with a speed sensor which meant that they couldn't yet do a front wheel drive or 4 wheel drive but rear wheel was fine. They're very friendly guys, try giving them a ring.

jonhill
Hi Ralph, Have a chat with Adrian Bell. He recommended someone to me, when my car was still on carbs, but I can't remember who. Adrian said he used these people for his race car, which is on carbs. Jon
Ralph Morgan
Hi Jon - good to hear from you! IIRC this was how we got together in the first place, when the old Crossflow was looking poorly and I was thinking of an RR check (must be 6 or 7 years back now). How's Canada? Did the car survive the journey/winter?

Griff
Try Circuit Motors at Castle Combe, adjacent the circuit. Completely sorted out twin Dellorto's on my old Alfa a couple of years back.
