EV3 Cam Cover

I have been searching the archives for the latest on EV3 Cam Covers. Does any one know if a new SL still comes with the cr*p plastic thing with Rover written on it. If it does, where can I get a replacment that looks a little less cr*p, maybe something with Metro written on it.Bob Corbishley tried a Lotus replacment I believe that did not quite fit, so where is the best place to get something a bit more in keeping, and I don't really want it to say Metro

The EU3 plug cover should be an anonymous affair with a blank rectangle on it. Caterham now supply a stick on "Caterham" badge to cover the rectangle. Not terribly impressive but you soon get used (become inured) to it.

Thats the cover I've got. I haven't been able to bring myself to carve it up to make it fit the VVC. It will fit straight onto a non VVC EU3 engine. I'll gladly sell it for £12 + p&p. (I think Chris Clark has first refusal?)

 

I'm now waiting to see what Caterham put on the X pack VVC engine (wait until April 9 to find out). I will probably badge mine the same as that will be the same spec as my engine anyway (I think).

Caterham now do a red badge like the white one shown on the link above. I think it looks better in red
