thorpep
Have you still got the engine for sale? I presume it would fit into a 1990 De-dion Cat BDR with Quaife 5 speed box?
olly olsson
The engine is still available it will fit any crossflow or BDR arrangement give me a call it should give enough power completely reliable I think the price is competetive but due to change of plans is negotiable
thorpep
My situation is that my 1990 cosworth BDR has covered 28,000 miles, it still runs very well but I'm looking for more power mainly for track use. To re-build is going to cost a small fortune and I don't know if it worth spending that kind of money on a 12 year old car, I'll never get my money back that's for sure! Can you please tell me more about the engine, it's history and re-build spec. etc. You say the engine should be powerful enough but if it is producing 217BHP then that's exactly what I'm looking for, I presume this figure was from a rolling road calibration? Is the engine currently in your seven and running? where are you? If this will drop straight into my seven I am definately interested, subject to price of course. I look forward to your reply. Philip
