Continue to have prolems, engine builder came up to Scotland and had a go at getting rid of misfire,no joy.Builders of engine have built identical engine to mine and along with top boy from Mbe my ecu and a dyno, have had a go at re-mapping.I received the ecu back today but engine running as before.I have booked in at deepest Dartford for a rolling road session(thanks to all for the advice). What i want to know is why when running on a dyno it only shows the slightest hesitation with snap throttle, yet installed in the car i can kill the engine with same?

My thought were that a few of us (Steve Mell, Paul Deslandes, Phil Walters, Myself) have suffered with some regulators being unreliable at higher revs giving a different pressure dependant on temperature. Maybe when its being mapped and the Bonnet is off it's fine but in use it gets too hot.
