Peter Mears
Having had a 2L Zetec fitted with a raceline sump I have found that the oil level seems to set itself just below the min line. I topped it up with half a litre but after 150 miles it was back to the same level. It looked like the excess has been blown out the breather tube. This sump should use the original dip stick.Does anyone have any knowledge of the correct levels?
I.Mupferit
When Raceline built my 2L Zetec, Peter told me to fill the sump with 5 Litres of oil, wait 1/2 hour then score a line on the dipstick to mark the full level. It is now approximately 6mm below the normal Ford setting and seems just fine. If you are still worried about it why not talk to Peter. Hope this helps.
