Asspec
My friend, Member of club but not on blatchat has a series 3 7 (1969) with a Twin Cam (140BHP) fitted mated to a 2000E box. Anybody here know what is the best clutch plate is to fit. He is also on about a paddle clutch arrangement but has lost me as I don't know how they work. Revin Kevin
Hi, The standard AP plate, I think it will be a CP5352-4 if it's an 8.5 inch clutch, which is what I would expect with that combination, will be more than adequate. Avaliable from Burtons or Questmead or the like, Questmead probably the cheapest. Unless he wants a very low inertia set for very revvy engine or competition, I would stay clear of paddle clutch. They are expensive, also new flywheel required, wear out quickly, noisy and can be a pain in traffic. Cheers Chris
