wag Posted March 27, 2002 Share Posted March 27, 2002 The wheel nuts on my sl are going rusty after 3000 miles. I have been super careful with them. Only I have touched them and I used a long socket, designed to bear on the flats, not the corners, lined with duck tape to pad it. The chrome plate is obviously very poor. They are good for the road (but you might have to fit longer studs) and look the dogs. Illegal in sprinting and hillclimbs though, and they wont fit R500 type wheels.
