My mag belltank was certainly a lot lighter than the wet sump ally housing, but I recall the tower is also a fairly hefty brick. I've just sent my ally bellhousing to its' new owner so I'll dig out the postage info - should give you a reasonable weight assessment based on Peter's info? Stu.
