EU3 ECU.. Dead. bereft of life. It is an ex-ecu

HI Ya'll,

I'm looking to make up and EU3 to EU2 converter for my new ECU. Does anyone have a surplus to requirement or dead and knackered EU3 k-series ECU kicking around that I could have for a consideration so I can cannabalise the connector off it.

Myles will be your starter on that one - he's built one before ISTR.

 

Also - you might want to talk to Simon Hayward (club member here i think) as he's a lotus engineer and caterham owner and has experience of such things (and access to a parts bin possibly).

 

Finally - Ronnie Gibson - ex rover engineer, caterham owner and wiring loom specialist I think could provide you one for a small fee (think he does this commercially). Powderpuff might be able to put you in touch.

I built my converter 12 months ago so put on a similar wanted ad. Simon Hayward replied and had a new EU3 sockets for sale so I bought one and used that. 😬

I've got an EU2 loom that I cn butcher for the connectors. Then you can make a proper loom without adapters...
