The engine is in race spec, built for a scholarship super sprint in 2002 of which I have many receipts. Up until october it was running and well suited to road or track. After a fun 2006 (big blat, fish & chip run etc) it’s now in need of new rings and a re-bore. Due to this I am thinking of upgrading to a race line Zetec as I do more miles on the road. The engine is currently in the stage of being dismantled so would consider selling the whole lot or the bits depending on interested parties. A detailed list & performance data can be forwarded however in brief this would include: 711 block Stage 3 head m/c’d to suit pistons Cam Cover – (dry sump) Steel - Omega pocketed pistons with over sized 83mm dia I think slight scoring on rotation side of the skirt. 264 Cam Duplex timing assy Steel 12 bolt crank Steel Burton Rods 12 bolt flywheel plus Burton single plate clutch Dry sump kit Induction M/fold Exhaust M/fold, collector and Can Etc.
