oilyhands Posted March 22, 2002 Share Posted March 22, 2002 I've got some coated clear polycarbonate here, it has an (expensive) scratch resistant coating and is much tougher than perspex, I can probably mail you a 3 x 3 section if you like.. I have removed my spare wheel carrier and was told a 'groovy' location for the number plate is the driver's side rear wheel arch, just under the light. Then i was told you could cut a section underneeth of the light, to provide light for the number plate. Then i was thinking some clear perspex would ensure no moisture etc effected the light, if i glued a section under there. Good idea? Illegal of course What do you think is the best perspex etc? B&G or oily's titantium style ? :-) p.s. I am by no means a craftsman, bits and zero's good for me, and I save a saw.
