stephen grant
I have a GRP panel with an unfinished edge that I want to cover with a rubber edging strip. I have an appropriate edging strip, but it will need sticking into place; the glue/adhesive/whatever doesn't need to be particularly strong, but I would like to use something that isn't irreversable; ie, I would like the ability to remove the edging and the adhesive at a later date and find the grp much as it was. Someone suggested Copydex, which sounds like it might be a good idea. Does anyone have a better idea? Thanks, stephen
chrisb
Sounds daft, but Hairspray is a good one 😳 I use it on MTB handlebar grips, and it holds them in place perfectly. If you want to remove, prise a corner away, and get some hot water involved, and it will slide apart 😳 😬 😬 😳
millsn
Silicon sealant (probably the clear variety would be best). Nigel Mills - My next car must have xenons
