TopQ1967
Hi Steve, Be aware there are two diiferent types! The difference is the rear bolting point. The one's for 1996-2000 do have other atachment points so don't fit post 2000 chassis. (between this period they have the attachment point under the chassis afterwards behind the chassis). If it doesn't fit your chassis, I will have it please. (I will make a picture that I try to send this evening). Regards, Q.
TopQ1967
The rear mounting point is different between 1996 and 2000 (at the underside instead of the rear) I found a picture of the pre and post 2000 side impact bar on Myles site http://www.alcester-racing-sevens.com/side_impact_bar.htm I am now a litle comfused as on Miles site there is this picture as well? http://www.alcester-racing-sevens.com/New_Aframe_mount_1.JPG My car is 1999 and has the same mounting points. Last week I was at CC for a side impact bar, and they gave me the information about the different mounting points!?!? (Sorry I din't get the link working) Regards, Quirin ]here]here Edited by - TopQ1967 on 8 Jan 2007 22:08:11 Edited by - TopQ1967 on 8 Jan 2007 22:09:

TopQ1967
Changed my previous mail with a better picture. Steve do you have the fixing at the bottom, or the rear? (I know it is probably sold, but you never know?) Quirin Edited by - TopQ1967 on 8 Jan 2007 22:11:

TopQ1967
Nick, If it is the same fitting at the rear as mentioned in the second link in above post it is the same as mine. So If it isn't (I presume it is) it will not fit mine. You lucky ba....! Regards, Q.
stevefoster
Yep, it bolts down vertically at the rear near the FIA or Cage mount and through the floor cross member. My car is a 97 De dion.
