Pedal box article in old Low Flying?

I am toying with the idea of sprinting my early series 3 Caterham seven.

One of the requirements for scrutineering is to have a fireproof bulkhead between the cockpit and the engine bay. This is a problem with early cars as the pedals were not enclosed as they are on modern cars.

I have been told that a couple of years ago Low flying ran an article explaining how to overcome this problem and box in the pedals.

If anybody has this article, could they please scan me a copy.

I have no idea of the exact date, only that it was a "while ago".

Also if anyone reading this has an early car with this mod carried out, can they drop me a line please.

Cheers

Will do Brent...I'm making a list smile.gif

I still need to work out the size of the piece for behind the seats.

Was it you who bibbed and waved at me in Fleet on Sunday?

I had just pulled into the tyre fitters carpark and my goggles had misted up.

Through the mist I saw a Green Seven with someone waving as they drove off towards Aldershot.

ok guys,

sent out this morning. File was about 750kb in the end I think and was easy to read on my machine, but wasn't very technical.

If you need to measure a car Steve (and if you are near Bracknell Greg) you are welcome to come over for a look.

Hi Brent, would you believe my car still hasn't hit the ground in anger yet! I did lower it onto the wheels Monday night and BLIMY I'd forgotten how low our cars are (used to mine being 3ft up in the air the last 4 months). It's a long and depressing story sad.gif
