7, first registration before 90s

I have a couple of cars in mind, but probably good to post here too. I need it to be old enough to pass annoying Finnish law. Late 80s is unknown ground so may or may not work. Earlier is easier. Here is a description of what I'm looking for.

 

Essentials

 

* Long cockpit

* Chassis in good condition

* Good, working engine. I'm no mechanic so car should be in nice shape with fairly low maintenance requirements

* Painted body

* Harnesses for driver and passenger. 3-point is minimum requirement (not just a belt) with Finnish law for post-80 cars.

* Weather equipment and heater.

 

Preferred stuff

 

* 5 speed gearbox (bordering on essential, still considering)

* New, easy engine. Zetec, Duratec ...

* S-type seats

* Colours: BRG or Jag green (nice with yellow stripe and nose band), dark red, titanium

* Clams

* Chrome (not blackpack)

* Spare wheel holder

* Quick-release steering wheel

* Any other nice extras like tonneau cover, map pockets etc. :-)

 

Hope that covers everything. Would like to hear about anything available.

Mind you that there could be issues with what is considered as year of manufacture in different countries.

 

Been there, know a fair bit about EU approvals...

Bob, that looks like an OK car at an OK price. Unfortunately I believe it to be short cockpit? That wouldn't really work for me... I did pass it on to some shorter guys, though.
