MartinWoodham
green is fine as long as you've got a rear bar, I don't think the blue is available any more. tell the laughers to f-off, itr's cheaper! Leadership Team SLR No.77 Posted December 24, 2006 Leadership Team Share Posted December 24, 2006 Sandy, the red ARB is also commonly used on road/track cars, just to widen your choice a little Stu.
simonbell
A red bar on its own will give understeer.........I have stiffer springs and I`ve played around with damper settings but still get understeer although nowhere near as bas as it was. I have come to the conclusion that I either need to fit a rear ARB or to go to a softer front ARB ie the blue or the orange. It may be that I have to go for an ARB and a thinner front ARB. That`s what I`ll be experimenting with this year. Yes, Stiffer front springs AND a stiff ARB will increase the tendancy towards understeer. It's all about balance! With standard springs and dampers, a blue or red front ARB works well without a rear bar. Sandy, Are you still on the ACB10's, or have you switched to radials? If so, the camber may need adjusting as well. I have the gear to check and adjust if you need a hand.
