My car colour is 40th Aniversary (less the stripe my one concession to Her indoors).

 

Agreed the corrosion looked bad. Now its fine and I have modified the engine bay tro prevent the rubbish getting in.

 

Also found some poor quality paint adhesion externally. I could scrape paint off to find powdery white deposits where the Aluminium was corroding.- I supect poor paint prep.
