DSL Posted December 20, 2006 Share Posted December 20, 2006 Not quite sure of the correct terminology 😬 It's the cast section that attaches to the front nearside upright that then goes accross to the steering rack arm, I think its called a steering tie rod(number on the casting is XAW 3769) as Caterham are out of stock for a good few weeks *thumbdown* & its holding up my rebuild. DSL Posted December 20, 2006 Author Share Posted December 20, 2006 Cagey, I think that's just the bit that screws onto the arms with the swiveling ball joint The part I am after, is the same material as the upright itself that that bit attaches to.
