steering arm doo-bry

DSL

Recommended Posts

Not quite sure of the correct terminology *confused* 😬

It's the cast section that attaches to the front nearside upright that then goes accross to the steering rack arm, I think its called a steering tie rod(number on the casting is XAW 3769) as Caterham are out of stock for a good few weeks *thumbdown* *thumbdown* & its holding up my rebuild.

Cagey, I think that's just the bit that screws onto the arms with the swiveling ball joint *confused* The part I am after, is the same material as the upright itself that that bit attaches to. You would almost assume that it comes as part of the upright assembly, but sadly not

Thanks very much chaps, shall order one tomorrow *thumbup* *thumbup*

Charles, Caterham parts told me anyday now just over a week ago. Then rang them yesterday to chase up, the revised date for delivery is now the end of Jan *confused* *confused*

Oh well, when I get hold of one of these bits, I recon I will have all the bits to throw it back together over the next few weeks *thumbup* *thumbup*

Hope the Duratec install is going to plan *thumbup*
