Englishmaninwales
1.Drive shaft retaining nuts, should these be replaced or OK to reuse? If replace, are they a std Ford part? 2.N/S engine mount is cracked around 1/3 of the weld on the flange on the inner end. OK to weld this up or should replace? 3.Rear wheel bearings, what are the QH or Ford part nos? Thanks Malcolm
caterhamnut
Only help on 2 I am afraid! ISTR it is not a massively expensive part - best replace. What engine? If it is an older k-series, then the later engine mount has been strengthend so best to replace with new anyway - also saves any worries on alignment after welding...see pictures of ours here - I didn't take a picture of the new one, but it basicaly has a triangular gusset sewn between the tube and the flange. Wow - 2 of many peoples fav words in one sentance - 'gusset' and 'flange'! sorry. 😬 www.mycaterham.com here Videos here 98,000 miles -1st 1.6k Supersport, '95 Motor Show car

TomB
Change the mount for the newer one. I had one like yours crack a couple of years back, it just unpeeled around the weld at the engine end. I replaced it as per Angus.
