Mark Durrant
Antonella No you will be OK with those harnesses provided they are in good condition  Mark D Comp Sec
CageyH
Good condition - meaning able to pass an MOT? Only dead fish go with the flow....
se7enmad
Thanks Mark. I guess good condition meaning non frayed. Strong attachment. Locking mechanism functional.... Antonella 1998 Caterham Vx 1.
Mark Durrant
Cagey I expect it is down to the scruitineers judgement but I would not want to trust a harness that was fraying at the edges  Mark D Comp Sec
CageyH
If a harness is frayed, it won't pass an MOT Â Only dead fish go with the flow....

sjmmarsh
I contacted the MSA about the belts - they said "no change" Dear Mr Marsh, Thank you for your email regarding sprint regulations. We can confirm that there are no changes to the MSA harness requirements for 2007 and this would mean that the date of a harness or the need of FIA homologation is not applicable. Best regards, Yours sincerely, JOHN RYAN, MIIE Technical Executive Technical & Risk Management So, no need for new belts for me as they are physically fine.  Steve
