So many of the parts that we buy from cables, brake pads, disks etc are all made for something else. It would help to know that when the throtle cable snaps on a saturday lunchtime that its in stock in the local car parts shop as a 1976 ford capri item etc. T.F@O.F. Mark H Posted March 18, 2002 Share Posted March 18, 2002 Fantastic idea , i like many im sure would find this invaluble. things like the clutch cable on crossflows is from a mk2 escort (5.99 at my local autoparts store) some crossflow dizzy caps are Fiat (regatta) part no.s rear wheel bearings are standard ford .
